Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning. You can use store-bought taco seasoning if that is what you have on hand.
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced bell pepper
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Over medium-high heat in a skillet on the stove, add a drizzle of olive oil, add the onion and bell pepper, and cook until onions are soft.
  • Then add the ground beef and cook until fully cooked. While cooking, break up the meat so that you have smaller chunks. Stir
  • Once the meat is done cooking, add the tomato paste and the water, turn the heat down to medium-low, and let simmer until the sauce has thickened.
