Ingredients

  • 4 pound beef roast of choice if bone in then you will want a 5-6 pound roast.
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 12 ounce jar pepperoncini peppers and the juice
  • 1 package dry au jus mix
  • 1 package dry ranch dressing mix or 2 tablespoons homemade ranch mix
  • 8 tablespoons salted butter

Instructions

  • Spray the slow cooker with non stick spray or line with a slow cooker liner.
  • In the pot of your crockpot place the roast, broth, pepper juice, and peppers.
  • Top the meat with the gravy mix, ranch mix, and butter.
  • Put the lid on the slow cooker and turn the crockpot to low for 8 hours.
  • Once the meat is done cooking, with two forks shred the meat into bite-size pieces. You know the pot roast is cooked when the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
