Ingredients

  • 3 pound pork roast
  • 12 ounce jar pepperoncini peppers and the juice
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix or 2 tablespoons homemade ranch mix
  • 8 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray or line with a slow cooker liner.
  • In a skillet over high heat add the olive oil and then sear all sides of the pork roast. You want all sides of the pork roast to be seared.
  • Add the pork roast to the slow cooker.
  • Top the roast with the au jus mix, ranch mix, butter, pepperoncini peppers, and pepperoncini pepper juice.
  • Turn the crockpot to low for 6-8 hours.
  • With two forks shred the meat into bite-size pieces – you can do this in the slow cooker. Then serve as desired.
