Ingredients

  • 25 Oreo Cookies
  • 5 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate melted
  • ¼ cup green candy melts
  • ¼ cup red candy melts

Instructions

  • Before starting, bring the cream cheese to room temperature on the counter for about 30 minutes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the Oreo cookies into a blender or a food processor(do not remove the cream). Pulse until the cookies are fine crumbs.
  • Add the cream cheese and crushed Oreo cookies in a large bowl. Combine them with a spatula or a spoon to have a well-mixed cookie and cream cheese mixture.
  • Using an ice cream scoop or cookie scoop, scoop the mixture out and roll it into smooth 1-inch balls in your hand. Then, place the balls on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  • Once the Oreo balls are chilled, melt the white chocolate. You can use a microwave or a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
  • Dip the Oreo balls into the melted white chocolate, cover completely with melted chocolate, let the excess chocolate off and then place the oreo balls on the baking sheet in a single layer. Continue until all of the Oreo balls are coated in melted chocolate.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the Oreo balls from the fridge.
  • Melt the red and green candy melts in separate bowls in a double boiler or microwave.
  • Using a fork, drizzle the melted candy melts over the Oreo balls. If desired, add Christmas sprinkles.
  • Place the Oreo Balls back in the fridge for 30 minutes, remove them, and store them until ready to serve.
