Place the chocolate onto a microwave safe plate and heat 30-second intervals, stirring in between each heat time until the chocolate is fully melted. You can also melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
On another small plate pour Valentine's day sprinkles.
Once the chocolate is melted, take your glass and dip the top rim into the melted chocolate and swirl around in the chocolate to coat the rim, then immediately dip the rim into the sprinkles. Immediately place in the freezer to chill and harden the chocolate.
While you are waiting for the chocolate to harden on the rim of the glass, make your homemade strawberry puree.
Wash and remove the stems of the strawberries.
Add the strawberries, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water into a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth. Strain the strawberry mixture if you like it smooth, or you can leave it with the chunks of strawberries in it if you prefer.
Fill a cocktail shaker 1/3 of the way with ice and then add in the vodka, chocolate liquor, heavy cream, and 1 ounce (6 tablespoons) of the strawberry puree.
Shake vigorously to combine all ingredients.
Remove the glass from the freezer, pour the cocktail mixture in to the glass.
