This Brioche french toast casserole recipe is perfect for a weekday breakfast, Christmas morning breakfast, or brunch. This recipe comes together quickly and easily with only a handful of ingredients.

  • Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish or a casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut the Brioche bread into 1-inch cubes.
  • Spread the brioche evenly in the pan.
  • In a small bowl, add the eggs, milk, and heavy cream and mix well to combine.
  • Add the butter to a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 45 seconds to melt the butter.
  • Add the melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the milk and egg mixture and mix well to combine.
  • Pour the mixture over the brioche and let sit for 30 minutes for the bread to absorb the mixture.
  • Heat the oven to 350° and bake the brioche casserole for 40 minutes.
  • Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with a drizzle of maple syrup, fresh berries and fresh fruit.
