Tips for Making White Chocolate Fudge
Use Quality Peppermint Extract. To get the amazing peppermint flavor you will want to use a quality peppermint extract.
Allow to Cool completely before cutting. It is important to let the fudge set completely before you cut it into pieces.
Use Candy Canes or Crushed Peppermints. The fudge is topped off with crushed candy canes, which is the perfect job to give the kids! I always give my kids the job to smash the candy canes into pieces.
It is easy to make your own smashed candy canes, you can buy peppermint pieces, but those are no fun! We like to smash our candy canes! Just take a ziplock bag, add the candy canes in and beat with a rolling pin. It only takes a few hits for the candy canes to smash into little pieces.
If you are not up to smashing candy canes, you can always grab some chopped peppermints at the store, but we think it is a lot more fun to smash them up ourselves.
