What Cheese do I use to make Chaffles?
You can use whatever shredded cheese that you want to when making these keto cheese waffles. You do need to use shredded cheese though when making them. I highly suggest using a block of cheese and shredding it with a cheese grater because bagged shredded cheese has a coating on it. I also find that fresh shredded cheese works better when making them.

I made them this morning. And, by far, these were better than 90 second microwave muffins. They tasted like the real thing…not eggy at all. Nice and crisp using George Forman’s waffle grill. I will be making them often. Thanks for the recipe.

Love Chaffles!!! I cannot keto without them LOL Another great trick I have learned over the years is to put a little shredded cheese right on the griddle, then the batter, then another little bit of shredded cheese on top of the batter, then close the hatch. This makes them the crispiest ever!!
