We love chocolate covered strawberries in our house. We make them as often as we can because everyone in our house loves them. They are perfect for making for parties, get togethers or just because. I started making chocolate covered strawberries because we love them but buying them in the store they are quite pricy.
These are so easy to make. Literally just melt the chocolate, dip, let cool and enjoy. It’s almost easier to make these than buy them at the store.

Variations of this recipe
Drizzle chocolate. Instead of sprinkles you can dip them in white chocolate, then let it set and drizzle melted green chocolate melts on top.
Change up the sprinkles. I like using nonpareil sprinkles but you can use any sprinkles you want to. I think they would also look super cute with some shamrock sprinkles on them too!
Tips for Making this Recipe
Use Fresh Strawberries. Choose strawberries that are ripe but still firm. Avoid underripe or overripe and squishy strawberries.
Pick a high quality melting chocolate. You will be able to taste the difference! Ghirardelli Premium white chocolate Baking Bar or Ghirardelli Premium white chocolate melting chips are my preferred white chocolate. However as long as it is a quality chocolate it will work.
Make sure strawberries are dry after being washed. To be certain they were dry I used a paper towel on each berry, including the green tops before dipping.
Prep everything before getting started. Have a tray lined with wax paper ready to go along with the chocolate in a bowl that can easily be dipped into before starting will make your life much easier.
Room temperature. Use strawberries that are room temperature. If you keep yours in the fridge let them sit on the counter for about 30 minutes before using them.
Hold Strawberries by leafy greens when dipping. Holding the top/ greens will keep your fingers out of the chocolate and give a clean finish when you pull them out of the melted chocolate.
