We have found that not all flavors actually turn out to be ones that actually taste good, so we are making them to test them for you in advance so you don’t end up wasting your time. Nothing is worse then wasting time, especially when you have a kiddo who is not feeling well.
These recipes have been flavor tested by kids, and I will tell you that while making these my kids have been very vocal on which flavors are just no ok to ever make again!

How to Use Pedialyte Freezer Pops
This pedialyte freezer pops recipe is doctor approved, in fact my doctor is the one who gave this homemade pedialtye recipe to me for my kids. I was going to buy them pedialyte and they told me how simple it is to make at home and how much cheaper it is as well.
Note: it is not recommended for children under 1 year of age. Of course with all things that deal with sickness, be sure to ask your doctor first before giving it to your child.
Use homemade Pedialyte Freezer popsicles the same way that you do the store bought ones.
Eat them slowly. Make sure when the person who needs the rehydration is slowly eating the pedialyte freezer popsicle. It is important not to give it to anyone until they haven’t throw up in two hour.
When you are serving homemade Pedialyte Pops just remove them from the freezer pop container and give them to the person to eat.
You can use any ice pop mold when making these pops. If you are using normal sized popsicle makers like theses silicone squeeze pop makers, it will make 6 pedialyte freezer popsicles. If you are using a mini sized ice pop maker like the KOJI Ring Pops Silicone Molds it will make 12 Pedialyte Freezer Popsicles.
Why Make Homemade Pedialyte Freezer Popsicles
We make our own homemade freezer pops own because I do not like the ingredients in store bought pedialyte.
My kids tell me the store bought ones taste awful and I fully agree.
It is MUCH cheaper to make your own then buy it in the store.
We use homemade Pedialyte in our house because it is much cheaper then buying the store bought version. My kids also do not argue with me to drink homemade pedialyte or to eat a pedialyte popsicle made at home. They do fight me any time I have tried to give them the store bought versions.
Mango Pedialyte Freezer Pops Ingredients
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 3/4 cups cold water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 tablespoons white granulated sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons Mango Jell-O Powder
How to Make Mango Homemade Pedialyte Freezer Pops
In a large pitcher mix the salt, sugar and Jell-O powder.
Add in hot water and stir until all of the sugar, salt and Jell-O powder dissolves.
Once it is dissolved pour in the cold water and mix.
Pour the homemade pedialyte mixture into the ice pop molds.
Put the filled ice pop molds into the freezer for 6-8 hours until they are completely frozen.
