What is Beef Stroganoff?
Beef Stroganoff is a classic Russian recipe that has sautéed beef in a creamy mushroom sauce that is typically served with noodles. There are many variations of this recipe, but our one pot spin on this classic recipe has all the flavors you want much easier!
What to Serve with Beef Stroganoff
Because there is pasta in this dish I like to keep the sides bright colors and on the lighter side. Sometimes we make baked potatoes or mashed potatoes but normally it is a green something.

You can use a tenderloin or a sirloin cut into thin small pieces if you don’t want to use ground beef. You can also make this recipe using ground venison.

I prefer to use egg noodles, but you can use just about any dry pasta noodles when making it.
