Baby Registry Must Haves: Newborn Essentials

I am so happy to tell you guys that baby D is here! I am just so happy to have my family complete. Having a newborn can be a big change no matter how you think you are prepared. I have come up with a list of things that are great to add to your baby registery. This are things that I found very helpful with my first baby and I am now using again for baby D.

Newborn must have items

Britax Car Seat–  You can call me a car seat snob but this is one thing I will not skimp on. This is something to make sure your baby has a safe trip where ever you go. I love that this car seat can just snap right into my stroller. I love how easy britaxs makes it to adjust the straps to provide safely to the baby.

Snugabunny Cradle ‘N Swing– This is a must have in our house. Both of my babies loved this swing so much. I am able to get work down around the house because of this swing. shape of the seat was just like she was being snuggled and it was moving non stop. It has different songs and a mobile to keep there attention. The best thing about this swing is the fact it is able to be plugged in! I know friends who have spent so much money on those big battery’s for other swings.

Bassinet– I love being able to have baby D right next to me when I am sleeping. Since I’m breast feeding I am able to just reach over and pick him up without even getting out of bed. I love this bassinet because of the add-ons. The mobile is able to give them something to look at with soothing music. The best part is that you are able to rock the bassinet, which both of my babies loved.

SwaddleMe Wraps– I love the happiest baby on the block method. One of the big parts of it is to swaddle the baby to make them feel like they are still in the womb. The swaddle me blankets were great for the middle of the night. You will find out when you are half asleep it can be very hard to swaddle a baby right so they will not wiggle out. These swaddle wraps make it very easy with the Velcro.

Boppy– The boppy pillows are not only just good for breast feeding, they are great added comfort. I am able to hold him in my lap without my arms going numb. When my daughter wants to hold her baby brother she is able to use the pillow to hold him without us being scared she might drop him. If you do decide to breast feed this pillow helps you get the right angle for you baby to latch on.

Baby K’tan– I love the baby K’tan because it gives you the comfort of a wrap carrier without the complications of trying to put it on like other wraps. You need to make sure you order your right size to keep the baby safe. This wrap is go great I was able to breast feed with my baby in it after a few months!
