Mango Homemade Pedialyte is an easy to make homemade Pedialyte drink recipe. With only 4 ingredients you can skip running to the store and just make it at home, plus it will save you a ton of money making it at home.
Mango Homemade Pedialyte
This pedialyte recipe is doctor approved, in fact my doctor is the one who gave this homemade pedialtye recipe to me for my kids. I was going to buy them pedialyte and they told me how simple it is to make at home and how much cheaper it is as well.
I also do not know when my kids are going to be sick, if I did that would be amazing. But as we all know kids get sick with out warning and having to take a sick kid to the store to get pedialyte is not my idea of fun. I always have pedialyte ingredients on hand in my house for whenever we might need it.
If you are dealing with mild or moderate dehydration in both kids and adults this homemade pedialyte recipe is perfect!

Why Make Homemade pedialyte
Some people want to make their own because they do not like the ingredients in store bought pedialyte and the dyes that are used.
Some people like to make their own because, let’s be honest here, pedialyte in the stores tastes gross. Others like to make their own because it is MUCH cheaper to make your own then buy it in the store.
For us it is a combination of my kids not liking the flavors that are in store bought and that it is much cheaper for me to make it.
How to use homemade pedialyte
Use homemade pedialyte in the same way that you do the store bought pedialyte.
It is important not to give it to anyone until they haven’t throw up in two hour. Make sure when the person who needs the rehydration is drinking it, they just sip it.
When you are serving homemade pedialyte you do not need to add ice to it, you can however if you want to. My kids prefer to drink it with ice in it so it is nice and cold.
How Much Homemade Pedialyte Should I Use?
When you are needing to stay hydrated or keep a child hydrated when they are sick it is important to stay hydrated. To maintain proper hydration a person may need 32 to 64 fl oz of homemade Pedialyte.
