This weekend was a TON of fun with my kids, I took each one of them to a place that I knew would be perfect for them and that has been on their list of places to go. After reading up about it and then talking to Legoland Discovery about visiting there and when they said yes I was super excited to take Logan. He is a huge Lego fan and can play Legos every day all day long. On Friday morning Logan and I woke up jumped in the car and took a drive to Yonkers New York to check out the Legoland in New York.
Logan picked Dunkin Donuts as our breakfast for on the road and off we went! He was quite annoyed with me that I would not tell him where we were going and even as we drove past it he did not realize where we were (which I have to admit I loved every minute of it building up the surprise).
We arrived at Legoland Discovery, it didn’t take him long as we walked up the sidewalk to realize where we were and jump around with excitement!
We started our adventure by getting the Legoland Activity book and heading to the Factory tour to learn how Legos were made.
After our tour we headed on our way to check out all the other fun which includes 2 rides, a Lego car building area where you can race your cars, a movie theater that is 4D and has some really awesome movies including Logan’s Favorite one, Lego Chima!
A must see when you are at Legoland is the mini world, where they have New York City built out of Legos!
I had a blast spending one on one time with Logan, it is not often that I get quality time with my kids one on one and I enjoy every minute of the time I do get. Seeing his eyes light up in a place filled with one of his favorite things and sharing with me his excitement as we made our way through the day was amazing! We finished our day with giggles at dinner and him telling me all about what he loved about our special day out together.
