As much as I love all the different keto soup recipes, the one thing I always miss is dipping a biscuit into my soup. I have always loved a good cheddar biscuit to go along with my soup. There is just something amazing that happens when a biscuit is dipped in soup that is so delicious!
I missed it, I needed to not drool at the table over the biscuits the kids were eating. Tada, Keto Cheddar biscuits and even better, everyone in the house loves them so I don’t have to make 2 different types of biscuits.

Originally when I was creating a keto biscuit recipe I did not have the plan to call them Keto Cheddar Bay Biscuits. However as soon as I had my recipe testers try them they told me they taste JUST like the ones they give you at Red Lobster so that is their name.
Call this tasty goodness whichever name you want to, keto cheese biscuits, Keto cheddar Bay Biscuits, cheesy keto biscuits or Keto copy cat cheddar Bay Biscuits it doesn’t matter. All that matters is just how amazing they are!
So in short these easy low carb cheese biscuits are a perfect copy cat Cheddar Bay biscuit recipe with out all the refined flours and carbs of the restaurant ones! Plus these easy keto biscuits have just 3g net carb per biscuit!
How to store Keto cheddar Biscuits
If you end up having any left overs of these easy low carb, keto cheese biscuits then you will want to store them in an airtight container in the fridge. To rewarm just pop them in the microwave for a few seconds on a plate. These keto biscuits will keep for up to 5 days in the fridge.
How to Freeze Keto cheddar Bay Biscuits
While making low carb cheese biscuits is quick and easy, sometimes having things on hand already that you just need to heat up makes life easier. If you are going to make and freeze these easy keto cheese biscuits you can and it is easy to do.
Allow the biscuits to cool completely after removing them from the oven. Then place the biscuits on a baking sheet in the freezer for 2 hours. Once fully frozen remove them from the baking sheet and put them in a freezer plastic bag.
To enjoy them after they are frozen bring them to room temperature on the counter or in the fridge. Then warm them in the microwave to enjoy.

Keto Biscuits Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoon sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
Keto Biscuits topping
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 tablespoon ranch powder mix
- pinch of salt
How to Make cheddar Bay Biscuits
In a bowl mix together the butter, sour cream and eggs until they are well combined and set aside.
In another medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese.
Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients just until combined.
Scoop large spoonfuls of the batter onto an ungreased sheet pan. You can make your life easier by using a cookie scoop to do this part.
Bake for 10-14 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
In a small bowl melt the butter and then mix together the melted butter and ranch mix. Right after you pull the biscuits out of the oven, brush the mixture onto the tops of the biscuits and sprinkle them with salt.

- 2 tablespoon butter melted
- 2 tablespoon sour cream
- 2 egg
- 1 cup almond flour

- 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
- In a medium bowl mix together the butter, sour cream and eggs until they are well combined.
- In another medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese.
- Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients just until combined.
- Scoop large spoonfuls of the batter onto an ungreased sheet pan.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Mix together the melted butter and ranch mix right after you pull the biscuits out of the oven. Brush the mixture onto the tops of the biscuits and sprinkle them with salt.

Have you tried making the Cheddar Bay Biscuits with coconut flour? I have to be really careful with almond flour as it tends to cause stomach distress.

I didn’t have powdered ranch so I melted unsalted butter, 1/2tsp garlic salt and dried parsley together and brushed it on top. Will definitely make these again.

The Chedder Bay Biscuits are great. I made these and they are very soft and easy to make. I will be making often. Excellent texture and taste. I got nine big biscuits from that batch. I could have made an egg and sausage sandwich, with the size that are.
