How to Use Disinfecting Wipes
For Disinfecting Wipes to be effective it is important that you use them properly. According to the CDC “Disinfection usually requires the product to remain on the surface for a certain period of time (e.g., letting it stand for 3 to 5 minutes).”
To use Disinfecting wipes properly, wipe the area you are disinfecting until it is visibly wet. Then allow to air dry. Do not continue to wipe the area until it is dry or you will be spreading germs instead of killing them.
You may need to use more then one wipe to get the area properly disinfected, you do not want to be rubbing around a dry wipe, that will not get the area clean or disinfected.
When using homemade Disinfecting Wipes remove them from the container, squeeze out the extra liquid and then wipe down the surface. If you are using Disinfecting Wipes with paper towels throw the paper towel away in the trash can immediately. If you are using Disinfecting Wipes made with wash cloths, then you will want to put them in the next load of laundry that you do.

Reusable Bamboo paper towels can be used to reduce the bulk and waste. They can be cut into small squares and then throw them in the washer and reuse.
Thanks for the recipe.
