The mornings are nothing short of a zoo here at my house, so to keep my sanity and have the kids not eat just cereal every morning I like to cook and bake things in advanced and then put them in the freezer. In the mornings this kids have a bunch of different choices to pick from that they enjoy and are tasty with out me spending time we don’t really have in the mornings.
Pancakes and waffles can call be easily reheated in the mornings. When making batches of these for the freezer cook a batch, then let them cool and wrap however many your kids eat in a sitting in seran wrap, then put them in the freezer and heat them when you need to. It will take about 45 seconds to 1 minute in the microwave depending on your microwave.
For french toast cook a large batch, then lay with 1 layer on a baking sheet and freeze. Once frozen put them into a large freezer bag and pull them out as needed. Heating them takes 45 seconds to 1 minute depending on your microwave.
Muffins and bread are another easy one to make in advance and freezer. Just make them in a regular batch size and let them cool. Once cooled stick them in a large freezer bag and lay flat in the freezer. For bread slice into slices and freeze on a baking sheet then stick in a large freezer bag. When its time for breakfast just pull them out and heat them in the microwave, depending on your microwave they reheat in about 30-45 seconds.
