We are big Disney fans in our house so whenever a fun cereal comes out in Disney characters we love I try to make a fun treat for the kids. When Finding Dory came out I saw the cereal and had to get it. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make one of my favorite treats, Cereal Marshmallow Treats! Crunchy cereal with marshmallows mixed with melted marshmallows for one tasty Cereal Marshmallow bar treat.
While I used the finding Dory marshmallow cereal for this recipe you can use any cereal with marshmallows in it to make them.

Tips for Making this recipe
Do not pack rice krispie treats mixture in to the pan. To achieve soft, and chewy while being crispy marshmallow rice krispie treats you want to be gentle when pressing the mixture into your baking pan.
Use a silicone spatula. I find it best to use a silicone spatula or spoon and spray it generously with non stick spray. Then I gently spread with out pushing down hard, the cereal and marshmallow mixture into my baking dish. This gives the perfect marshmallow cerael treats with out them being hard.
Prevent Sticking. When you are making these line your baking dish with greased parchment paper. If you don’t have parchment paper on hand make sure you grease your baking dish well. I use nonstick baking spray to grease my baking dishes and parchment paper.
Mix carefully. mix them very carefully because you do not want to break up the fish marshmallows.

Use flavored marshmallows. Sometimes I like to use fruity mini marshmallows or peppermint mini marshmallows.
Dip in chocolate. You can melt chocolate and dip part of the treat or the bottom of the treat in the melted chocolate.
