I have to admit that for a long time I was not a fan of brussel sprouts, along with Lima beans. While I still can not stand lima beans, I have found my love for brussel sprouts.
The love came when I figured out how amazing brussel sprouts are when they are cooked the right way. There are multiple ways to make tasty brussel sprouts, you just have to find your favorite way to eat them.
Brussel sprouts with bacon and cheese is one of my favorites. Seriously, add bacon to just about any veggie you don’t like (except lima beans lol) and they will be amazing. These easy brussel sprouts with bacon and cheese are amazing! Then add some cheese to your brussel sprouts and you have an AMAZING brussel sprouts side dish!

Cheesy Brussel Sprouts with Bacon Ingredients
- Fresh Brussel sprouts
- bacon
- heavy cream
- mozzarella/provolone mix shredded cheese. If you do not have provolone/Mozzarella cheese mix you can use them individually or you can use Monterey jack cheese.
- garlic powder
How to Make Cheesy Brussel Sprouts with Bacon
Prep your brussel sprouts but washing them, cutting off the ends and then cutting them in half. Then set them aside.
Cut your bacon into bite sized pieces and cook bacon on the stove in a skillet over medium high heat.
Once bacon is fully cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet, and place on a paper towel lined place. Leave the bacon grease in the skillet.
Add in brussel sprouts in to the skillet, still on medium high heat and cook till bright green and soft.
Once brussel sprouts are cooked, add in heavy cream and let cook until it boils. Once boiling add in the garlic powder and mix well, then add in the cheese to mix until it is fully melted.

- 1 pound Brussel sprouts cleaned and halved
- 6 piece bacon
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mozzarella/provolone mix shredded cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
