Bunny Bait Easter Trail Mix
I am gearing up for Easter and realized that last year I made this tasty Bunny Bait Easter Trail Mix recipe for the kids and then I never shared it with you all. I found all the photos and it reminded me of how much I love spring time and Easter and all the bright colors that make for awesome and easy treats.
This Bunny Bait Easter Trail Mix can be made for an Easter treat or if you have left over Easter candy you can make it after Easter too.
I love having fun with the holidays and any chance I can I make it fun for the kids. Easter is no exception and there is plenty of fun to be had when it comes to Easter. Not only are there tasty and super cute treats to make but there is the fun story of Jesus that we tell the kids and get to celebrate. When we talk about the Easter story with the kids we like to make resurrection cookies and resurrection rolls as a tasty treat that fits perfectly.
When it comes time to have fun with Easter stuff we do the traditional egg dying (although most of the time we dye eggs with shaving cream or temporary tattoo Easter Eggs because it is less messy), we make Easter crafts like the Easter Wreath and Easter Egg garland.
This year we are also making Easter Bunny hot chocolate bombs that I am super excited to make again with the kids.

Variations of this Recipe
There are so many ways you can change up this snack mix to be filled with your favorite candies and snacks that are perfect for your Easter party and fun.
Easter Candy. I used chocolate Easter eggs and candy worms but you can also use spring colored M&Ms, Jelly beans, malted robins eggs, flower candies, or any other easter candy you like.
Snacks. I used pretzels and cheddar bunnies but you can also use popcorn, cereal (like cheerios, Chex mix or Captain crunch) and if you can’t find cheddar bunnies you can always use goldfish crackers.
Marshmallows. I used normal white marshmallows but you can also use the spring colored ones to give the Easter trail mix even more color.
