How to Make Air Fryer Cheddar Bay Biscuits
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and garlic powder and mix well.
Using a knife cut the stick of butter in small size cubes.
Add the flour to your stand mixer bowl and then add the cubes of butter. Mix on low until the butter and flour mix making a crumble dough.
Stir in the cheese and parsley.
Turn the mixer on to low speed and slowly add the buttermilk to the flour until it forms in to a mound of dough. You do not want to over mix the batter, you just want to mix it until the dough is formed.
Using a stand mixer or blender, mix the butter into the dry flour mixture until butter crumble form.
Spray the air fryer basket with oil or line with parchment paper. Spoon the cheddar biscuit batter into the air fryer. I find it is easiest using an ice cream scooper. Fill your basket with as many as you can with out having them touch.
Spray biscuits with olive oil spray and cook on 380 for 5 minutes. Turn and cook for 2 more minutes.
Continue the cooking process until all the biscuits are done. If you have a larger air fryer basket or an air fryer with trays you will be able to cook more biscuits at a time. It will take about 35 minutes to cook all of the biscuits this recipe makes if you are cooking them 4 at a time in the air fryer.
