Disney Silhouette Art

 

I have fallen in love with these silhouette art frames on etsy but they are so much money. I found these great frames at a tag sale but they were this faded pink and I knew I would be able to paint them to match my idea. This can be done with any of your child’s favorite character. I chose Ariel, Cinderella and Jasmine these are some of my own favorite Disney princesses. You may use your choose of scrap book paper, I was able to find this great sparkly paper. I mean what girl doesn’t love sparkles. This is a great elegant way to add some pictures into your child’s room.

Supplies 

Frames

Printer paper

Scrap book paper

scissors

Spray adhesive or glue stick

You will need to go to google images and search for the silhouettes of your choose. Save the image so you will be able to choose different sizes. (For my frame I printed them off as an 8 by 10 picture)

 

Carefully cut out the silhouette.

 

Turn your scrap book paper upside down and place your silhouettes.

Trace and cut out your silhouettes.

 

Cut your background paper to fit your frame. Glue your silhouette to the background paper.

 

Place in the frame.
