Easter Chocolate Pudding Parfaits
Can you believe that it is almost time for Easter? I feel like everything is flying by super fast and holidays are coming faster then I realize. Normally I am already planning for Easter and this year I am not even ready for St. Patrick’s Day to be here and it will in a few days.
This year I am sticking with easy desserts that the kids can help me make. I originally made these a few years ago and thought now was a great time to update the post since we are going to have Easter sneak up on us. These Easter pudding parfaits are super easy to make. You can make them with homemade pudding or boxed pudding which ever one you prefer.

Variations of this recipe
Use homemade pudding. If you are not a fan of boxed pudding then you can use homemade pudding.
Change the pudding flavor. If you are not a fan of chocolate pudding then you can us vanilla pudding, pistachio pudding or any other pudding flavor that you prefer.
Change up the Oreo Cookies. I like using chocolate Oreo cookies but if you don’t like them you can use vanilla Oreo cookies instead.
Candy Eggs. There are lots of different candy eggs that you can use Cadbury Mini eggs, Hershey Candy Eggs and mini robin eggs. You could also use jelly beans instead of candy eggs if you wanted to.
Coloring coconut. If you have never colored coconut before it is super easy to do. All you need is sweetened coconut and food coloring. Check out how to color coconut for all the tips and how to do it.
Easter Chocolate Pudding Parfaits Ingredients
- 3.9 ounce box Chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 18 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup sweetened coconut
- green food coloring
- Candy eggs
- 4 Peep Bunnies
How to Make Easter Chocolate Pudding Parfaits
In a large bowl add the chocolate pudding mix and milk and mix well using a hand mixer. Put the chocolate pudding in the fridge until it is firm.
While the pudding is in the fridge get the rest of your ingredients ready.
In a zip close bag add 1 cup of coconut and 5-10 drops of green food coloring. Zip the bag closed and shake the bag until the coconut is died green and set aside.
Add the Oreo cookies to a zipper bag and close the bag. Using a rolling pin and a ziplock bag smash the Oreo cookies into crumbs.
Once the pudding is firm get 4 small glasses or bowls.
In each glass put a layer of pudding, layer of Oreos, another later of pudding and finally the last layer of Oreo cookies.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup of colored coconut on top, add a few candy eggs in the grass and top with a Peep Bunny.
