What to use to Color Slime
There are multiple ways that you can color slime, and most of our slime recipes use washable paint. However when the older kids are making slime they like to use acrylic paint instead but when they are making easy slime recipes with Hannah who is under 2 years old, they use washable paint to make slime. You can also use color pigment to make slime, however I find that makes things messier so we stick with paint in our house.
If your kids are in love with making slime like mine are, make sure you just start a collection of paint and glue now. We always have a gallon of glue on hand at all times. Not that it lasts very long LOL. Also when buying glue you want the school glue, do not use the all purpose glue, that stuff doesn’t work as well for making slime.
This slime recipe without borax or cornstarch is perfect for making with the kids when you are looking for something fun to do with them. They will be entertained for hours!
