When I am planning a party I know things are going to get crazy. There is always so much to get done and there never seems like there is enough time to get it all done. Which is why I have been LOVING easy crockpot dip recipes whenever I am going to be needing appetizers or finger foods.
Crockpot dip recipes are so easy, you just dump all the ingredients in the crockpot, turn it on and let it cook. Once it is done turn it to medium and it stays the perfect temperature for serving while you are having your party! What to Serve with Queso?
Ok so you might be thinking that it is a little weird to think about serving queso with something but I have to tell you that queso is AMAZING over fajitas, taco meat, taco salad and lots of other tasty main dishes.
There are lots of times I make taco night and skip the shells and we put all our favorite taco toppings in a bowl and then pour warm cheesy queso on top of it! Oh it is delish!
Crock Pot White Queso Dip Ingredients
- 1 pound block white cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup milk or heavy cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 10 ounce can Rotel tomatoes & green chilies
- 8 ounces sour cream
How to Make Crock Pot White Queso Dip
Spray the crockpot insert with non stick cooking spray.
Chop your white cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese into small chunks and put in the crockpot.
Pour the sour cream, milk (or heavy cream) and 10 ounce can Rotel tomatoes & green chilies on top.
Give everything a good quick mix and turn the crockpot on to the low cook setting.
Let everything cook for 30 minutes- 1 hour (cook time ranges because not all crockpots heat up the same). Be sure to stir it every so often.
Once everything is completely melted together, give it a good quick stir, turn the crockpot temperature down to warm and enjoy!

Does it take forever to melt? It’s been in the crock pot for 2 hours and still not smooth. I used heavy cream?

Won’t use as much sour cream next time. It was really over powering and all i could taste. Other than that it wasn’t bad.
