Is heavy cream the same as heavy whipping cream?
Heavy cream and heavy whipping cream are basically the same thing. They both have the same fat content. Often times these are used interchangeably with each other.

Can you it with a blender?
Yes, you can use a blender to make whipped cream. You do it very similarly to making it with a mixer. You add the ingredients and let it mix until it starts to form stiff peaks. The only tricky part about making whipped cream with a blender is the sharp blades at the bottom. Be very careful when removing the whipped cream. You can easily cut yourself.
How to Make Flavored Whipped Cream
If you wanted to make flavored whipped cream, you can easily do so. One of the easiest ways to change the whipped cream flavor is to replace the vanilla extract. You can use whatever flavor you like. There are extracts for almost anything from peppermint to lemon, to birthday cake, to root beer to rum. You can definitely find almost any flavor you like. You can also use a bit of alcohol to flavor the whipped cream. If using alcohol, use the same amount as the vanilla extract.
You can also flavor the whipped cream with cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup. If using honey or maple syrup, you will omit the sugar and use these instead. Each has its own flavor that it will bring to the whipped cream.
Spices are another way to flavor the whipped cream. You can use cinnamon or nutmeg as a way to add flavor to the whipped cream. You can also get bold and add a bit of heat to go with the sweet with chili powder or something like that. There is no end to the way you can flavor your homemade whipped cream.
Make it Keto
I have a sugar free whipped cream recipe and it is so easy to make. You are simply changing one ingredient. But it makes all the difference when you are talking about staying on track with your plan. Sugar free whipped cream is amazing on sugar free desserts or just to eat as is when you need a sweet treat fix.
What are stiff peaks when whipping cream?
The best way to describe stiff peaks when making whipped cream is that it has the texture of shaving foam, but still holds its shape. This means if you stop the mixer and remove the beaters, the cream will sort of stand up on its own from where the beaters were pulled out. It takes about 4 to 5 minutes. However, if you overbeat the whipped cream, you will end up with a butterlike consistency.

You might want to flavor yur whipped cream, check for sweetness – add a little sugar or sweetener, if desired – and you could add a little bit of vanilla extract, or go wild with a different flavor! Best of all, whipped cream has almost no sugar grams, especially if you use a sweetener!
