Tips for Frosting Cupcakes with the best Frosting Swirls
Large opening tip. The key is to use a piping tip with an opening as large as a dime. You can use a round tip for a smooth swirl or a star tip for a swirl with ridges.
Make each swirl individually. You can have as many frosting swirls on a cupcake as you want and you will make them each the same way. If you want different colors for each swirl layer you can do that too.
Fluffy frosting. You want the frosting to be fluffy and not right out of the fridge.
