Variations of this recipe
You can easily change things up when making these frozen banana pops. My kids love it when I dip them in sprinkles, especially when I did red, white and blue for 4th of July, however there are many awesome alternatives.
Peanut Butter Banana Pops. After dipping them in yogurt, drizzle peanut butter on top of them by melting peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds to melt. Then use a spoon to drizzle the peanut butter.
Cereal covered Banana Pops. After dipping the frozen bananas in yogurt dip them in your favorite cereal. Rice Krispies, Cocoa Krispies, Fruity Pepples, Coco Pebbles, and trix all work well for covering banana pops.
Fruit Covered Banana Pops. After dipping the banana in the yogurt dip the frozen banana pops in freeze dried fruit.
Yogurt and Granola Banana Pops. Dip the banana pops in your favorite flavor granola.
How to Store Banana Pops
If you are not going to eat them all at once, wrap them in plastic wrap or wax paper and store in the freezer. These Banana Popsicles will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.

- Bananas
- Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Red, White and Blue Sanding Sugar or colored sprinkles or other toppings (Optional)
- Popsicle Sticks
How to Make Yogurt Covered Frozen Banana Popsicles
Line a sheet pan with parchment or wax paper. Cut the bananas in half and then peel them.
Insert a popsicle stick into the cut side of the banana.
Dip the banana into the yogurt, you may need to use a fork to help get it out. Be sure to cover the whole banana with the greek yogurt.
Dip the banana in the toppings of your choice.
Place into the freezer for two hour to harden. Enjoy Frozen.
